H.M.S. Blackwater was one of 36 destroyers of the "River" class.
Service
Lost off Dungeness in collision with a steamer named Hero. The crew of the steamer said it had fallen in with the flotilla in the Channel and that Blackwater tried to cross her bows and was hit in her starboard quarter.[7]
