H.M.S. Banshee was one of forty-two "A" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy — a "27 knotter".

Service

In reserve at Malta in late 1905.[7]

In late 1906 she was in commission with the Mediterranean Fleet.[8]

In early 1910 she was in commission with the Mediterranean Fleet.[9]
