H.M.S. Verulam was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.
Service
In December 1917, Verulam joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla.[6]

- Commander Ralph W. Wilkinson, 21 November, 1917[7][8] – 31 December, 1918[9]
- Lieutenant-Commander Guy L. Warren, 15 April, 1919[10][11] – 4 September, 1919[12][13] (vessel lost under his command)
