H.M.S. L 15 was one of thirty-five "L" class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
In 1925, she was part of Fourth Submarine Flotilla on the China Station. A Lieutenant William Leslie Berridge is listed with her, but not expressly as being "in command".[7]
In early 1929, she was still with 4SF on the China Station.[8]
She was one of three "L" class boats taken into Dockyard Control at Portsmouth on 14 May, 1931.[9]
In June of 1933, her bell was one of about 100 surplus bells announced as being for sale at prices ranging from £1 to £10. Preference would be given to those offers from men with a special consideration in the bell in question.[10]
