H.M.S. C 29 (1909)
Pendant Number: I.59 (1914)
C.29 (mid 1915)[1]
Builder: Vickers[2]
Launched: 19 Jun, 1909[3]
Mined: 29 Aug, 1915[4]

H.M.S. C 29 was one of thirty-eight "C" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

There is a discrepancy in the year of her loss, 1915 or 1916. The Technical History offers a plausible context for her loss which says 1916, claiming she was being towed while submerged by a trawler to attempt to surprise a U-boat, and she was towed into a mine.[5]
