Commander R.N.R. (retired) Reginald George Pardoe, R.D. (3 April, 1877 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Pardoe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 7 May, 1909.[1]
Pardoe was appointed in command of the destroyer Porcupine on 4 December, 1915.[2] Although he would hold this appointment through the end of the war, he received lacklustre evaluations from Cdr. Monroe.[3]
Pardoe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 7 May, 1917. He suffered an adverse report for a collision between Porcupine and Thrasher on 29 September, 1917.[4]
Pardoe was demobilised on 15 June, 1919 and was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 3 April, 1922.[5]
