H.M.S. Cossack was one of twelve destroyers of the "Tribal" class.

Guns

By 1912-13, her five 12-pdr P. I mountings bore register numbers 169, 170, 200, 201 and 202 and were fitted with "Training Gear".[6]

Radio

In 1909, she became one of forty-three destroyers so far fitted with Destroyer Sets.[7]

Service

In mid-1913, she was serving in the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla.[8]
