H.M.S. Afridi was one of twelve destroyers of the "Tribal" class.

There was another destroyer named Afridi launched in 1937.

Service

In mid-1911, she was part of the First Destroyer Flotilla of the Home Fleet.[7]

By May 1919, Afridi was among 33 obsolete ships awaiting sale.[8]

Guns

By 1912-13, her five 12-pdr P. I mountings bore register numbers 205, 206, 207, 278 and 287, and were fitted with "Training Gear".[9]
