H.M.S. Zulu was one of twelve destroyers of the "Tribal" class.
Service
In mid-1913, she was active with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla.[7]
On 27 October 1916, Zulu had her stern blown off by a mine laid off Dover by UC 1 off Dover. She was to live on, in part, when her bor was joined to the stern of Nubian to create the "new" destroyer, H.M.S. Zubian, which was completed on 2 July, 1917. Zubian would operate with the Dover Patrol and be credited with sinking UC 50 on 4 February, 1918.
