H.M.S. Euphrates was one of five Euphrates Class iron screw troopships completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Portsmouth on 12 July, 1882 with officers turned over from H.M.S. Crocodile.[1]
Commissioned at Portsmouth on 5 May, 1886.[2]
