Service
Paid off 26 November, 1918.[7]
On 21 February, 1921, she suffered a premature detonation in her left 15-in gun with an A.P.C. Lyddite shell and full service charge. There were no casualties beyond a slight foot injury.[8]

Construction
Lord Clive received a very high priority for receiving directors, and the order for her equipment was completed in 1915.[13]
18-inch Monitor
Along with General Wolfe and Prince Eugene, Lord Clive received an 18-inch gun in 1918. The order for her updated bombardment director equipment was completed by October, 1918 and most likely fitted that month.[14][Inference]
