Construction

Lord Clive received a very high priority for receiving directors, and the order for her equipment was completed in 1915.[8]

18-inch Monitor

Along with General Wolfe and Prince Eugene, Lord Clive received an 18-inch gun in 1918. The order for her updated bombardment director equipment was completed by October, 1918 and most likely fitted that month.[9][Inference]
