Commander Ian Mackenzie Fraser, D.S.O., R.N. (15 November, 1854 – ) served in the Royal Navy. Fraser was born John Alexander Mackenzie Fraser and changed his name on 1 May, 1888.[1]
Life & Career
John Alexander Mackenzie Fraser entered the service on 17 September, 1868.[2]
Fraser was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 5 December, 1879.[3]
Fraser was promoted to the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1893. Awarded a D.S.O. on 10 January for operations in North Africa resulting in the capture of [illeg] and [illeg].[4]
