H.M.S. Rob Roy was one of sixty-two "R" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1916-17.

Service

Rob Roy joined the Grand Fleet's Fifteenth Destroyer Flotilla in December, 1916.[8]

She completed to reduced complement no 31 August, 1920.[9]

On 15 June, 1921, the Portsmouth Local Defence Flotilla was comprised of Rob Roy and her sisters Rosalind and Ready.[10]

Re-commissioned at Devonport on 17 January, 1924.[11]

Paid off to a C. & M. Party at Portsmouth on 17 November, 1925.[12]
