Service

Henry Maurice Coombs was awarded a D.S.O. for destroying an enemy submarine while in command of Sturgeon on 11 March, 1918,[8] but there is no clear indication on Uboat.net that the Germans lost a submarine on this date.[9]

Sturgeon was reduced to reduced Complement on 16 August, 1920.[10]

Paid off into Dockyard Control on 6 January, 1926.[11]
