Service
Capetown was re-commissioned at Devonport on 16 October, 1924 for service with the Eighth Cruiser Squadron on the America and West Indies Station.[2]
She was commissioned on 1 July, 1927 for service with the Eighth Cruiser Squadron on the America and West Indies Station.[3]
Re-commissioned on 31 December, 1929.[4]
Commissioned on 15 December, 1933.[5]
Commissioned on 17 July, 1934 under the command of Captain Douglas A. Budgen for service on the China Station.[6]
Re-commissioned at Devonport on 30 July, 1936.[7]

Listed in June 1918 as one of eight light cruisers to receive a Mark III* Dreyer Table, presumably in place at time of completion.[8]
