The Royal Navy's Annual Manoeuvres of 1891 were held during the summer of 1891.
Order of Battle
Portsmouth Command
The Portsmouth Command mobilized on the morning of 8 July, activating 1,600 men to join 800 men already aboard the Nile and Pallas. The Northern Fleet, under command of Vice-Admiral Sir Michael Culme-Seymour in Camperdown and Rear-Admiral Jones (I'm not sure which Jones) in Anson rendezvoused in the Downs and anchored for the night with the Rodney (Captain Warren), Howe (Captain Boys), Aurora (Captain Fanshawe), Immortalité (Captain Wiseman) and the torpedo gunboat Speedwell (Lieutenant Hely-Hutchinson).[1]
