Captain Alexander Guy Berners Wilson, M.V.O., D.S.O., R.N. (18 November, 1890 – 11 April, 1942) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of a surgeon.
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 March, 1913.
Wilson was appointed in command of the trawler Andrew King from late October 1917 to 20 December, 1918.
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 March, 1921.
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1926.
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1933.
World War II
Wilson was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 5 March, 1942 and died on 11 April of uraemia.
