Commander R.N.R. (retired) Robert Geoffrey Cross, R.D. (21 December, 1876 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Cross was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 22 August, 1910.[1]

In 1916, he collided Vigilant with S.S. Ellington. In 1917, he collided Vigilant with the Leith Dock and also with the paddle minesweeper Eridge.[2]

Cross was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 22 August, 1918.[3]

Demobilised 7 July 1919, Cross was awarded an R.D. that year.

Cross was retired with the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 21 December, 1921.[4]

Removed from the Navy List on 16 May, 1930 due to non-report.
