Life & Career
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 14 April, 1855.
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 11 September, 1865.
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 2 September, 1872.
Retired on account of age on 22 February, 1888.
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 January, 18[[illeg].
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 9 December, 1894.
Deputy Lieutenant, County of Devon, gazetted 7 December 1907.
