Captain James Henry Thomas Burke, C.B., R.N. (28 March, 1853 – 12 May, 1902) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Burke was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 January, 1877.

Burke was promoted to the rank of Commander on 21 June, 1887.

Burke was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1894.

Burke died of paralysis on 12 May 1902 while appointed in command of the armoured cruiser Orlando.
