The Herreshoff Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of small ships, boilers and components.

Primarily known for its fast, high quality yachts, they built several seagoing torpedo boats for the U.S. Navy.

History

The company was founded in Bristol, Rhode Island by brothers Nathanael and John Herreshoff.
