H.M.S. Myrtle was one of twelve Azalea Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Myrtle joined the First Fleet Sweeping Flotilla in mid-1916 and served in that formation until at least mid-1918.
After the war, she was part of the Mine Clearance Service until striking a mine in the Baltic on 16 July, 1919.
