Service

Irresistible passed into the Fleet Reserve on 3 February, 1902.[8]

She recommissioned at Portsmouth on 27 March 1913 for service with Second Fleet.[9]

Eleven men died when she sank, with two more to succumb later.[10]

She likely was completed with or was slated to receive a W/T kit soon after completion, based on her sisters were completed slightly earlier and were so designated.[37]
