George Sydenham Clarke, First Baron Sydenham of Combe

Colonel George Sydenham Clarke, first Baron Sydenham of Combe, G.C.S.I.G.C.M.G.G.C.I.E.G.B.E. (4 July, 1848 – 7 February, 1933) was a British soldier, colonial administrator and author. He served as the first secretary to the Committee of Imperial Defence from 1904 to 1907.
