Frank Sammels

Lieutenant (retired) Frank Sammels, R.N. (7 June, 1873 – 2 November, 1951) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Sammels was granted the acting rank of Gunner on 2 May, 1902 and was confirmed in the rank on 2 May, 1903.

Sammels was appointed Chief Gunner (T) in Command of the gunboat Bloodhound in January, 1916.[1]

Sammels was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 2 May, 1917.

Sammels was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Lieutenant upon his relief on 4 August, 1922.
