Ernest Henslowe

Captain (retired) Ernest Henslowe, O.B.E., R.N. (16 March, 1872 – 19 January, 1952) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Henslowe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1893.

Henslowe was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1905.

Henslowe was appointed in command of the battleship Albion on 9 February, 1914.[1]

Henslowe was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1920.
