Engineer Commander (Royal Navy)

From 1 April, 1903, Fleet Engineers were styled Engineer Commanders, and ranked with Commanders of the Military Branch.[1] Under the Order in Council of 19 March, 1908, the compulsory retirement age was lowered from 55 to 50.[2]
