Life & Career
The son of Barrister-at-Law and Civil Servant Egerton Grey, Esq..
Grey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1916.[1]
Grey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1924.[2]
Grey was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 29 May, 1938.[3]
World War II
On 2 February 1949, it was approved that Grey should be totally exempt from mobilisation.
