"V" Class Submarine (1914)

The four "V" Class Submarines, coastal submarines built by Vickers and quite similar to Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company's "S" class, entered service in 1915-16 and were taken out of service very shortly after the end of the war.

Torpedoes

In 1913, it appears that it was hoped that seven 18-in Mark VIII torpedos could be carried.[1]
