Vice-Admiral George Trewby, C.M.G., D.S.O. (19 October, 187423 April, 1953) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Trewby was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1913.

On 10 July, 1919 Trewby was appointed a Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George:

For valuable services as Flag Captain and Chief of Staff to the Rear-Admiral Commanding, 10th Cruiser Squadron.

On 1 November, 1923 Trewby was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral, vice Barttelot. He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 2 November.

Trewby died at the age of seventy-nine on St. George's Day, 23 April, 1953, at 94 Richmond Hill Court, Richmond. He was cremated at Mortlake Crematorium on 28 April.
