Jump to navigationJump to searchCaptain R.N.R. Herbert Joseph Giles, R.D., R.N.R. (10 December, 1881 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Giles was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 12 April, 1912.[1]
Giles was demobilised on 1 November, 1919 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 12 April, 1920.[2]
Giles was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 1 January, 1925.[3]
Giles was promoted to the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 31 December, 1930.[4]
In 1948, he reported that he was retired and living in Cheshire.[5]
