Admiral (retired) SIR Charles Eric Morgan, D.S.O., K.C.B. (19 May, 1889 – 1 August, 1951) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1911.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1919.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1925.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1932.
Morgan was appointed in command of the battleship Valiant in October, 1940.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 6 February, 1942.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on
Morgan was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Admiral on 22 October, 1948.
