H.M.S. Tiverton was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Tiverton paid off on 25 October, 1919.[6]
In January, 1921, she was at Southampton, one of twenty-eight paid off minesweepers there.[7]
She was commissioned on 22 March, 1927. From at least mid-1927 to at least October 1935, she was working with the First Minesweeping Flotilla.[8][9]
She was transferred to Dockyard Control at The Nore on 5 February, 1937.[10]
