Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. John Edward Loveluck, ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Loveluck was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 28 January, 1918.[1]

His temporary commission was terminated on 25 August, 1919 – just days after he was given his first and only command appointment to Dahlia. Oddly, the Navy List suggests he remained in command for at least four more months.[2]
