H.M.S. Comet (1931)

Commissioned: 2 Jun, 1932[2]
Broken up: 1946[3]

H.M.S. Comet was one of fourteen "C" and "D" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Portsmouth on 2 June, 1932 for duty with the Second Destroyer Flotilla in the Home Fleet.[4]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 31 August, 1934 for service with the Second Destroyer Flotilla in the Home Fleet.[5]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 29 December, 1936 for service in the Mediterranean.[6]
