Jump to navigationJump to searchVice-Admiral SIR Stephen Hope Carlill, K.B.E., C.D., D.S.O.* (23 December, 1902 – 9 February, 1996) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Carlill was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1925.[1]
Carlill was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1933.[2]
Carlill was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1937.[3]
World War II
Carlill was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1942.[4]
Carlill was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 January, 1952.[5]
Carlill was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 16 December, 1954. He was placed on the Retired List on 7 July, 1959.[6]
