Admiral of the Fleet SIR George Rodney Mundy, G.C.B. (19 April, 1805 – 23 December, 1884) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Mundy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 4 February, 1826.

Mundy was promoted to the rank of Commander on 25 August, 1828.

Mundy was promoted to the rank of Captain on 10 January, 1837.

Mundy was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 30 July, 1857.

Mundy was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 15 December, 1863.

Mundy was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 26 May, 1869.

Mundy was promoted to the rank of Admiral of the Fleet on 27 December, 1877.
