Commander Robert Stewart Roy, C.M.G. (11 March, 1878 – 3 December, 1924) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Reverend J. Roy.

Roy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1900.

Roy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1908.

Roy was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1914. He served through the Great War at the Portsmouth Barracks until taking up a post at the D.N.I. in November, 1918.

Roy was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit in August, 1919.
