Commander (retired) John Moore Heath, (21 August, 1891 – 1 December, 1944) served in the Royal Navy as a member of the Engineering Branch.

Life & Career

Heath was the son of an underwriter at Lloyd's of London.

Heath was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1913.

The war ended, Heath found himself briefly appointed in command of the interned U 112 from mid-December 1918 to 31 January, 1919.

Heath was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1921.

Heath was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 31 August, 1931.
