H.M.S. PC 42 was one of twenty "PC" class patrol boats built for the Royal Navy..

The boat was sometimes referred to as P 42 or PQ 42 in contemporary documents.

Service

She was one of four PC boats and nine P boats operating with Reserve Complement at Devonport in September, 1919.[5]

Reduced to C. & M. Party at Devonport on 26 October, 1919.[6]
