H.M.S. Argonaut (1898)

Argonaut commissioned at Chatham on 19 April, 1900, under Captain George H. Cherry, for service on the China Station in place of the Undaunted.[1]
Among those officers appointed to Argonaut at the start of her commission were Lieutenant Thomas Brandreth, Lieutenant E. L. C. Muntz as First Lieutenant, Lieutenant F. C. Brown as Gunnery Officer, Lieutenant W. J. B. Law as Torpedo Officer, Lieutenants F. Payne-Galloway, R. S. J. Wigram, and H. B. Mulleneux.[2]
