H.M.S. Defender (1932)
Builder: Vickers-Armstrongs, Barrow
Launched: 7 Apr, 1932[1]
Commissioned: 8 Nov, 1932[2]
Sunk: 11 Jul, 1941[3]

H.M.S. Defender was one of fourteen "C" and "D" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Devonport on 8 November, 1932.

Defender re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 16 October, 1936 for service with the Eighth Destroyer Flotilla on the China Station.[4]
