Captain (retired) Frank William Wyley, R.N. (9 February, 1851 – 3 December, 1929) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Wyley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 8 April, 1874.

Wyley was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1889.

Wyley was appointed in command of the iron screw storeship Humber from 5 January, 1894 to 1 April, 1897.

Wyley was placed on the Retired List at his own request with permission to assume the rank of Captain on 7 April, 1899.

Wyley offered his services on 21 April, 1915 and was informed there was "no opportunity of utilising them at present."
