Commander R.N.R. (retired) Harry Welch, R.N.R. (13 April, 1886 – 5 March, 1955) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Welch was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. with seniority of 1 July, 1915.
Welch was appointed Lieutenant, R.N.R. in Command of the destroyer Liffey on 26 September, 1918.[1]
Welch's command of Liffey ended on 8 January, 1919 was demobilised eight days later.
Welch was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 July, 1923.
Welch was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 28 October, 1929.
