Captain Frederick Henry Taylor, C.B.E., D.S.C., (17 June, 1888 – 1953) was an submarine officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Taylor was appointed in command of the submarines C 21 and C 24 in June, 1913.[1][2] On 23 June, 1915, while in C 24 he successfully sank U 40 off Aberdeen.[3]
On 17 January, 1918, while in command of submarine E 48, he torpedoed Template:DE-U156, but the torpedo failed to explode.[4]
On 27 August, 1920, Taylor was appointed in command of the submarine K 11.[5]
