Admiral SIR Alfred Wyndham Paget, K.C.B., K.C.M.G., D.S.O., Royal Navy (20 March, 1852 – 17 June, 1918) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Paget was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1896.[1]
On the occasion of King George V's coronation he was promoted Knight Commander in the Order of the Bath (K.C.B) on 19 June, 1911.[2]
Paget was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 8 December, 1913, vice Denison.[3]
Great War
He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 14 September, 1914.[4] He was granted a temporary Commission as Commander in the Royal Naval Reserve on 18 September, 1914.[5]
