H.M.S. Sheldrake was one of twenty destroyers of the Acorn class.
Service
In mid-1913, Sheldrake was operating with the Second Destroyer Flotilla.[6]
She reduced to C. & M. Party at the Nore on 17 February, 1920.[7]

- Lieutenant-Commander Richard A. A. Plowden, 20 December, 1912[8][9] – July, 1915[10]
- Lieutenant-Commander Maurice C. Bomford, July, 1915[11] – 19 December, 1916[12]
- Lieutenant-Commander Frederick P. Champion de Crespigny, 19 December, 1916[13] – after mid 1919 (and in command of a group of ships in reserve at Devonport)
