H.M.S. Ringdove was one of nine gunboats of the Redbreast class completed for the Royal Navy around 1890.

Service

Ringdove was commissioned at Devonport on 16 September, 1890 under Lieutenant & Commander Edward Joseph Bain.[3]

Ringdove re-commissioned at Devonport on 14 July, 1911.[4]

In 1913, she was under the orders of the Admiral Commanding Coast Guard and Reserves.[5]
