George Bingham Powell ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
On 31 December 1910, Powell was promoted to Captain.
He assumed command of the first class protected cruiser Gibraltar in October 1912.
Powell was appointed to command H.M.S. Devonshire on 10 November, 1917.[1]
Powell was appointed in command of the battleship Monarch on 29 August, 1919.[2]
